Overcoming the Fear of Dogs:
KAD Protocol for Children - £199
The KAD Protocol for Children is a proven program designed to help children overcome their fear of dogs. With this course, children will no longer have to turn down invitations due to the presence of a dog and you can enjoy visiting dog-friendly locations together as a family. The course is child-led, tailored to meet each child’s specific needs, and employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to transform negative thoughts about dogs into positive ones. Children will receive a gentle introduction to understanding dogs’ body language and will learn effective strategies for coping if approached by a dog. Positive reinforcement is used throughout, with children earning rewards for completing games and tasks after sessions.

April offer £199 (usually £360)
The Fear of Dogs program offers a comprehensive approach to help adults overcome their fear of dogs. With this program, you’ll no longer need to refuse invitations because a dog might be present, and you’ll be able to enjoy visiting dog-friendly locations with your family. The course is tailored to your specific needs, providing continuous support even beyond the sessions.
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, the program helps transform negative thoughts about dogs into positive ones. You’ll receive a gentle introduction to understanding dog body language and learn effective strategies for handling situations where you might be approached by a dog. Positive reinforcement is a key aspect of the program, rewarding you for completing tasks after each session.
The course consists of seven online sessions, which you can complete from the comfort of your home, followed by five in-person sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to meet a Kids Around Dogs (KAD) assessed and approved dog. Throughout these face-to-face sessions, you maintain control, deciding how much interaction you are comfortable with at each stage.
The program is led by Wendy, a qualified teacher with 29 years of experience, who has also personally overcome her own fear of dogs and later became a qualified dog trainer. Wendy understands your fear and provides empathetic guidance throughout the course. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate and pin to celebrate your achievement. This program is suitable for adults.

Annual School Dog Evaluation
An annual evaluation for both potential and current school dogs to ensure they remain well-suited for their role. A KAD-approved professional will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your dog, providing a detailed written report along with recommendations for any areas that may require attention.
Safety Sessions for Scouting and Kids’ Clubs
Our Safety Sessions offer engaging lessons focused on teaching kids how to stay safe around dogs. These sessions include interactive lessons on understanding dog behavior, recognizing signs of stress in dogs, and learning the do’s and don’ts of dog interactions. A special highlight of the session is a visit from Monty, our well-loved school dog, who is professionally trained through the Teach Dogs program and assessed by KAD. Monty’s visit provides a hands-on experience where children can practice safe interactions under the guidance of experts, making the learning both fun and practical.
Deluxe 1-1 Puppy Package, £180
- The Deluxe Puppy Package will give your family the skills you need to raise a well behaved puppy.
- Cover all of the crucial training for your new puppy, including sit, leave it, loose-lead walking and recall to build obedience.
- Build eye contact and attention to help create a rock-solid focus on you, even around distractions.
- Learn how to deal with common puppy problems such as toilet training, puppy biting and jumping up.
- Use your free settle mat to develop a super handy settle which is perfect for stress-free pub and cafe trips with the family.
- Your package includes 4 sessions in your own home or outside space with a qualified dog trainer.
- Set your puppy up for success and build beautiful behaviour that lasts a lifetime.
Junior/Teen Trainer Packages, £90
- The Deluxe Junior/Teen Trainer Packages will give youngsters the skills to train their family dog.
- Discover fun ways to interact with the family dog, including games that will build amazing bonds with your pet.
- Uncover the secrets of dog body language and learn how to know if your dog is happy or uncomfortable.
- Learn about how to stay safe with dogs.
- Your package includes 2 sessions with a qualified teacher and dog trainer.
- Each package is for one young person (aged 7 to 16) in their own home or local outside space. There must be a responsible adult present at all times during the sessions.
- Additional children from the same household can be added to the package for an additional fee.
Dog Behaviour Packages
Behaviour packages are available for fear related issues such as reactivity, separation anxiety and toileting problems.

New Baby Preparation Package

- Getting ready for the arrival of your new baby is an exciting time! The New Baby Prep package will make sure that your canine family member is ready to welcome your new baby too!
- We will help your dog get ready for the new sights and sounds that a newborn brings.
- Help prevent unwanted behaviours like jumping so that you can attend to your baby without your dog’s ‘help’.
- Get your dog used to the moving wheels of a pram for enjoyable days out.
